Business Development Manager – Export

Heat Pumps & Air Conditioning

We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager (Export) with strong technical and commercial understanding of heat pumps and air conditioning systems. The ideal candidate will manage existing distributor relationships, identify new business opportunities, and collaborate with engineering support to deliver tailored HVAC solutions.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Support existing partners and distributors in the heat pump and AC market.
  • Understand customer needs and provide effective, solution-oriented guidance.
  • Demonstrate product operation and handle customer inquiries.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Manage and regularly update a database of potential customers.
  • Contact new prospects, assess their needs, and present product options.
  • Close sales opportunities and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Work toward achieving defined sales targets.
  • Record all sales activities in the CRM and report to company leadership

Secondary Responsibilities

(in cooperation with Marketing):

  • Support marketing initiatives via LinkedIn and other media channels.
  • Participate in trade shows and industry events.
  • Monitor competitors’ products and marketing strategies.

Core Competencies:

  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Effective time and territory management. 
  • Strategic approach to preparing and following up on quotations. 
  • Cold calling and prospecting (via phone, LinkedIn, and in-person).
  • Ability to build lasting, mutually beneficial business relationships. 
  • Experience working with commercial end-users and engineering firms. 
  • Understanding customer pain points and offering win-win solutions. 
  • Coordination of sales and marketing efforts. 
  • Technical understanding of HVAC systems and heat pump applications. 
  • Willingness to travel across the EU based on opportunity location. 
  • Confident presenter, capable of delivering technical solutions to clients and consultants. 
  • Comfortable in commercial and on-site environments.

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven background in HVAC sales and distributor network development.
  • Solid understanding of heat pump technology and applications
